Tour Description

Roll up! Roll up! Step right this way for our London Beatles tour. Let us show you the iconic Abbey Road crosswalk which is situated close to the Abbey Road Studios. A chance in a lifetime for taking a photo of you ‘doing the Beatles walk’ – walking across the Abbey Road crosswalk, just like the fab four did for their 1969 album cover. Guaranteed fun! It’s easy to spot the crosswalk as there’s usually a group of people gathering along either side of the street taking photos with friends and loved ones as they cross Abbey Road. (Not to mention lines of cars patiently waiting for them to finish). Close by are the Abbey Road studios which is the location where the Beatles recorded almost all of their studio material. This is definitely the most important location in the group’s London history.

While your in the area we will show you the location of Sir Paul McCartney’s house which he purchased for £40,000 in 1965 from a doctor named Desmond Oneill.

Sir Paul and his girlfriend actress Jane Asher did not move into the house until 1966 because there were many changes made to the interior features which took more than one year to complete.

After many late night recording sessions, the other three Beatles would end up sleeping at the house, as it was so close to the studios. Many other famous musicians have stayed here including, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and Sir Mick Jagger.

There are many more London Beatle sights to see from the beginning of Beatlemania up to the break up of the band. There will be plenty of time to stop and take those all important photos during the tour.

There are three places to keep in mind that offer a good selection of Beatles memorabilia, The Abbey Road Shop, The London Beatles Store and the Beatles Coffee Shop – and we visit them all.
